Mr Madhok is a consultant surgeon, specialising in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, General, Upper GI surgery, and Bariatric / Metabolic (weight loss) surgery.

  • Surgical training in India and then further higher specialist surgical training in London, Manchester, Yorkshire, and completed the prestigious Sunderland bariatric fellowship approved by the Royal College of Surgeons
  • Mr Madhok is an avid teacher, and is actively involved in teaching medical students and training junior doctors. He regularly teaches on advanced laparoscopic (key hole) surgery training courses and other surgical training courses.
  • Honorary (Consultant) Assistant Professor, School of Medicine, University of Nottingham
  • Awarded Doctor of Medicine (MD) by the University of Leeds for his work in cancer research

  • Mr Madhok is especially interested in medical research, and was awarded Doctor of Medicine (MD) by University of Leeds for his work in cancer research.

  • He also undertook a Postgraduate diploma in clinical health research at the University of Leeds. Participating in different research projects, especially in the field of weight loss and metabolic surgery. He has presented his work at several national and international conferences.
